Welcome back to Valdell!
Today we are starting a brand new round, which is always exciting!!! But unfortunately, we are starting with the mayor household, which is not, lmao.This update features this house by Lesyasun and a sim by Deedee.
Last Time: [previous update] Kiley grew into a beautiful young adult. She decided she will take over mayor after university. Harry grew into a teenager and rolled the unstable trait, and is into boys. He doesn't really care about school too much. Glen enjoyed working in the garden. Jasmine grew into an elder.
This Time: Go on a blind date every night! (Harry rolled to do this!)
We are back at the mayors house (made by Lesyasun)! The gardens look a little different thanks to Tvickiesim's flower & shrub defaults.
Here is the mayor herself, Mrs. Jasmine Holmquist!
And her husband, Glen
They both live at home with their youngest son, Harry.

The computer was broken, which is probably the most important object in the house of the mayor. :P
Malta Both, the town repairwoman, was summoned to help fix!
Everyone in the house had the want to adopt a doggo, so Glen called up the humane society!
Teresa was added to the household :) Now the family has 3 dogs
Harry ran into his cousin, Tate Broke, outside and they had a nice chat
But then it was time for Harry's first blind date! He only spent $900, and hopes his mother doesn't notice the expense on her credit card bills :P
His blind date was Mads Marius, who is straight but was willing to give Harry a shot!
They had a nice time dancing in the living room for a bit
But then it got too weird for Mads.
Harry: Uhh, can you go please? And let's just pretend this never happened...
The next morning, Jasmine added more money to the city funds, which totals $560,000 now. I forgot about taxes last round, so she only deposited $50k.
After adding Valyria (which cost $2.4mil), a new park this round per ROS ($100k), and the contract with Mission State University ($500k), the cities budget is sitting at a nice -$2,100,000.
After a relaxing weekend at home, it was time to get back to work!
Harry brought home Kayden Hustler from school
Jasmine returned from work just in time to meet new townie, Lyndsey Blondie (by deedee) :)
It was time for another blind date for Harry! This time he was sent Saul Winkwell

The next night, it was party time! Jasmine threw an anniversary/birthday/birthday party!
Harry you might want to move a bit closer if you're trying to blow out those candles lol

Married couple Fidel and his partner Spazzy snuck away from the party for a quiet moment outside. I thought this was super cute even with the clipping plants :P

Glen likes to bring the doggos on early morning hikes, but usually comes back with poison ivy or bees.
I'm not sure tomatoes from the garden are a good filling for toaster pastries...? Maybe if they were stuffed with tomato, mozzarella and basil? And not sweet :P Hmm
